The Golden Egg Hunt
In an effort to get families and friends in the parks spending time together, thousands of plastic, colored Easter eggs, along with 100 golden eggs will be hidden in various parks throughout Harrisburg: Stallings Park, Harrisburg Park, Pharr Mill Park, Harris Depot Park and Veterans Park.
Families may search for eggs during park hours from Friday, April 12th (beginning at noon) through Thursday, April 18th, 2019. Plastic colored eggs will have a small piece of candy or a small toy that you may keep. Eggs will be hidden at various times during this period.
If you are one of the lucky people to find a grand prize golden egg (with a ticket in it), you can redeem your prize at Harrisburg Park during our Easter Event, Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm. Prizes include: tickets to various outings in the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County areas plus other goodies such as Easter baskets, toys, and games!
Families, a few things to keep in mind when "hunting" for eggs:
- Please help us to keep your parks clean and green! Please discard of plastic eggs and candy wrappers in trash receptacles.
-Please be courteous and leave some eggs for others to find!
-Limit one Golden Egg per family.
-Have fun exploring the parks in Harrisburg!
