Every year, the Town of Harrisburg completes sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects. These projects are intended to extend the life of the system utilizing trenchless technologies and alternative methods of repair and rehabilitation. The Town intends to utilize this Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study (SSES) to identify primary areas of concern within the Bradford Park Subdivision and use the study to prioritize future system improvements. The objectives of the SSES include:
Evaluation of approximately 24,700 linear feet (LF) of sanitary sewer and approximately 95 manholes using Smoke Testing and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
Generation of individual reports summarizing the results of each element inspected. An example of an element is an individual manhole or pipe segment between manholes. Each element will be assigned a characterization of level of function and quality which can be used to rate the structures and pipe segments by need of repair.
Anticipated Start Date for Evaluation: Spring 2020
Repairs may begin immediately depending on severity of impairments. All other repairs are anticipated to begin in the Spring of 2021.
