    Event starts at 10:00 a.m. and will reoccur throughout the day. All Ages - Join the library and experience the Starlab planetarium, courtesy of the State Library of North Carolina. The planetarium shows at each branch will be unique, so see them all! Starlab has a limited seating capacity and planetarium shows will reoccur throughout the event day at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00. Call for more information

  3. Mix It Up: Winter Mixes in a Jar (RR)

    Join us as NC Cooperative Extension Agent Pam Outen guides participants on how to create a winter recipe mix in a jar. All participants will take home their very own mix in a jar, along with recipes to make later. All supplies provided. Registration is required (12 participants max).   2. Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting

    The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. at Town Hall on the fourth Monday of every month. The Board recommends policies, projects and possible funding opportunities to the Town Council, as well as acting as a liaison to the community, soliciting volunteers and making recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Department on opportunities to improve the quality of life for Harrisburg residents through affordable, family-oriented programming, parks and special events. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is a volunteer board consisting of seven members. All seven members reside in the Town of Harrisburg.
