    Ages 12 and up-- Calling all writers! Harrisburg Library is seeking original romance or general love story submissions for February's So You Think You Can Write showcase. All submissions must be no longer than 2000 words and cannot exceed a PG-13 rating. A panel of library staff will select 3 winners from Teen (12-17) and Adult (18+) story entries.   1. Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting

    The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. at Town Hall on the fourth Monday of every month. The Board recommends policies, projects and possible funding opportunities to the Town Council, as well as acting as a liaison to the community, soliciting volunteers and making recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Department on opportunities to improve the quality of life for Harrisburg residents through affordable, family-oriented programming, parks and special events. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is a volunteer board consisting of seven members. All seven members reside in the Town of Harrisburg.
